Four-day working week

Time Timer, Pomodoro, and an Outlook ambassador are measures that have accompanied our decision to implement a four-day working week. The shorter working week fosters flow, job satisfaction, and flexibility that benefit our team – as well as our customers and partners. The transition to a shorter working week has not been easy, and we are still in the process of finding the optimal setup. But we remain confident that this has been the right decision for us.

Structuring our week

When we decided to implement a four-day working week, we received valuable assistance and sparring from Pernille Garde Abildgaard, a specialist in this area. She helped us focus on some of the structures that were hindering our success. With relatively simple measures, we managed to create a daily routine where a shorter working week could effectively work.  

  • We have changed how we do meetings  

  • We have learned to use Outlook in a better way  

  • We have introduced the Pomodoro technique, which focuses on time to work without interruptions  

  • We focus on the value we create through our measures and efforts.  

By working together as a team on the new structures, we have increased our efficiency, motivation, and job satisfaction. Thank you, Pernille Garde Abildgaard, for the inspiration and help!
