FSC® certification
Responsibility is a lot more than just recycling. It is also about the production conditions and the material extraction.
We prefer FSC®-certified materials and offer advice on how this benefits our customers.
By certifying all links in the supply chain, from forest work to extraction and finally shaping, it is ensured that FSC®-labelled products are made from materials sourced from FSC®-certified forests and/or other responsible sources. But FSC® not only works for nature, but also to better the conditions for people in the world’s woodlands.
EUDR: EU Deforestation-Free Regulation
We take positive steps to implement the EU Deforestation-Free Regulation (EUDR), which has the purpose of preventing products connected with deforestation or destroying the environment from entering the European market. The regulation includes several paper and wood products.
The legal requirements have a bearing on us and our value chain as they require us to map and monitor the entire supply chain to document the products’ compliance with the regulations.
The implementation of EUDR entails close collaboration with our suppliers to ensure transparency, improved tracking, and ongoing risk assessments and revisions to our supply chains.
Our goal is not only to comply with the regulation but also to operate a business that promotes transparency and responsible production – one that benefits the environment, society, and our customers.
EPR: Extended Producer Responsibility
We act in accordance with EU packaging legislation. The legislation is designed to promote sustainability and reduce waste by ensuring that manufacturers take responsibility for their packaging from production to disposal. In Denmark, we are a member of the collective scheme RETUR https://retur.dk/ and registered with the Danish Producer Responsibility (DPA).
